- Born on the Navajo Reservation in NE Arizona. Lived there for 22 years as a kid and adult. Moved around a bit: LA; Phoenix; Tempe (ASU); NW New Mexico; NE New Mexico, Oahu, and now Hawaii. Career in Education: teaching experience 2nd grade to college; administrator from VP to District Superintendent. Opened an Art and Craft Supply and Hobby shop in 2005; closed it in 2009 due to the recession.

@Judith, Thanks for the comment! We're on the Big Island, Hawaii, West side down Napo'opo'o Road! We love it here, trading work on the farm for rent in a cool little coffee shack.
