Chad , a student of ours in Maxwell, is one of the 1007 American soldiers that have died in Afghanistan. In addition to those that have been killed in Afghanistan, 4193 have died in Iraq. There have been over 30,000 wounded in Iraq alone since the beginning of the war.
There is, of course, no official count of Iraqi military and civilian deaths but the most recent estimate puts the number at 1,284,105.
I would like to see an end to these senseless wars. I think we can accomplish that with a new president.

when will we stop putting stickers on our cars to pray for our sons' safety while killing and just bring them home?
THIS is my idea of a Veterans' Day post--no foo-foo about it.
